Volunteer with Wycliffe
Explore opportunities in Bible translation.
Use Your Skills to Make an Eternal Impact
You don’t need to be a full-time missionary to make a difference.
A task like Bible translation is so immense and so important, it doesn’t just belong to a few people. It belongs to all of us as Jesus commanded in Mark 16:15. By volunteering your time, expertise and experience, you can join the work God is doing among communities and churches worldwide, and the impact will be exponential!
You won’t be stuck doing menial tasks! All our volunteers are full members of their teams, providing critical skills, insight and value no matter how long they serve. All we ask in return is that you bring your commitment to Christ, your desire for humble collaboration and your passion that all people might access God’s Word.
We have opportunities in everything from marketing and communications to administration, finance, management, childcare, healthcare and more.

More Than Six Months
If you’re ready to make an ongoing impact on Bible translation, we have many opportunities to serve for six months or more. Most volunteers who serve more than six months offer a minimum of 15 hours a week, and they may work in areas such as IT, marketing and communications, recruiting, human resources, health and member care, finance, management and consulting.

Wendy’s Story
When Wendy retired, she found retirement wasn’t what she had expected. Even though her free time was full of activities, her days felt empty. She started feeling bored and realized her lifestyle lacked purpose and meaning.
Around that time, she attended a class where the speaker shared how God is on the move around the world through Bible translation. The speaker challenged the audience to join in what God was doing. Then he looked directly at her and said, “And you could be in Wycliffe.”
Wendy was shocked! She wasn’t sure how she would fit into serving in Bible translation. But after learning more about what it takes to serve, she decided to join God’s global mission as a volunteer and contribute to Bible translation!

Wycliffe is for people who know that God is on the move and want to be part of a movement that is giving hope to people who want their lives transformed.
Now, Wendy’s retirement is filled with meaning and purpose as she takes on the purpose of God for His entire world and invites more people to get involved.
