Arthur and Kathleen served in the Philippines from 1979 until 1990. A highlight was translating Genesis and Matthew for a language group of about 10,000 people. They then served in the Wycliffe US headquarters in Huntington Beach, California. In August of 1999 they moved to Waxhaw, North Carolina to work at the JAARS Center. Kathleen and Arthur now both work in Wycliffe’s Human Resources Department. Kathleen keeps members assigned to her accountable regarding their need for current Ministry Budget, sends relevant Wycliffe personnel staff their financial snapshot as information is updated, and sees if Wycliffe missionaries need emergency funds. Arthur helps HR and other Wycliffe administrators throughout North, Central, and South America stay updated on current Wycliffe human resources issues and maintains an awareness of significant member care issues in the Americas Area. He also is getting more involved in recruitment of new missionaries.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
