B.J. & Kris served over 8 years in Brazil supporting the work of Bible Translation. B.J. served as a pilot/mechanic flying into remote areas supporting expatriate & national missionaries. Kris started & operated a health clinic that met the needs of over 1000 local indigenous people and taught medical classes to Brazilian and Indigenous missionaries. Since 2007, B.J. has been using his overseas experience to train & mentor the next generation of Mission Aviators from around the world. He has now trained over 150 pilots who serve around the world, including pilots from Brazil, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Cameroon, Kenya, & Peru. Kris works as a Nurse Practitioner and adjunct faculty and continues to support several overseas medical ministries. Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
