Bob and Nancy Haussler have served in a variety of roles in the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea. They are currently serving remotely for JAARS where the Maritime Services Department has its headquarters. Their job is to assure that Bible translators and their families have water safety equipment, and are able to travel safely on water worldwide. Over half of the remaining language communities that still need God's Word will require the use of boats for access. This work assures that many thousands of people will receive God's Word in their own language each year. Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
