Carletta began working in Peru in 1999 and what a journey it has been! She worked among two Quechua groups in the southern Andes for 10 years as a trainer and mentor, primarily in the area of indigenous writers and publications. Later she served as the National Training Coordinator. During that time she helped form and equip a training team made up primarily of indigenous men and women who could respond to the training needs around Peru in the areas of literacy, publications, Scripture engagement, organizational leadership and development, etc.
In 2015, Carletta moved back to the US to get married to Jim. She continues to work full time with Wycliffe and SIL, but now based out of Minnesota. Currently she is working as the Scripture Access team leader for the northern region of the Americas Area. Her job is to ensure that the many translations of Scripture that are already available in the native and indigenous languages of the US, Canada, Central America and the Caribean are being promoted and used. These translations are often available in both print and non-print forms and her team seeks to help communities find meaningful ways to engage with them for life transformation.
Thank you for partnering with Carletta's Wycliffe ministry!

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
