Christina came to Nigeria as a member of the Survey Team in 2019 and is now serving on the Human Resources (HR) team. As the HR Assistant for Staff Care, Christina works closely with the HR Director and her team, the local security team, and representatives of other Wycliffe organizations to ensure staff are equipped and have the support and care they need to thrive in their ministries. HR also frees up the time of technical staff, like translators and linguists, so they can focus on language work! Christina met her husband Benard on the Survey Team where he still serves as a Nigerian Missionary Staff. They were married in 2023. Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
