Curtis and Jennifer helped relaunch Bible translation efforts with the Sabu team who'd been waiting for over 10 years to continue their translation of the Bible into Lii Hawu. They are working on translating Acts.
Curtis works with the team as a Translation Facilitator throughout the translation process. He gives special attention to the linguistic and exegetical aspects of translation necessary to render a clear, accurate, and natural Bible translation. The experience he is developing as a facilitator also serves him as he trains to become a consultant over the next 3-5 years. Consultants work with teams on the final checks of their draft before the Bible translation is officially approved. Jennifer assists with the project administratively and homeschools their children.
Your prayers and financial partnership to support Bible translation for the Sabu people and the teams Curtis serves as a consultant in training are deeply appreciated.
Grace and peace!

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
