Since joining Wycliffe, Dan and Mary have served in a variety of roles both overseas and stateside. Mary has been a homeschool mom and survived breast cancer. She celebrated 10 years cancer free in 2020. Having breast cancer gave her a unique opportunity to serve wholesome homemade soup two days a week at the cancer center. She also established a Wednesday night "community meal" for folks shopping at a second hand thrift store that has continued to meet in the Fall, Winter and Spring.
Dan works with Wycliffe’s Internet Publishing Service (IPS). This initiative teaches nationals how to build their own websites for viewing the Good News online. The Websites allow downloads in print, video, and audio formats, all in their own language. In addition to leading two-week onsite workshops in various places around the world, he also builds apps for language groups promoting the Bible and other reading material in the "mother tongue".
Dan and Mary are excited to be part of what God is doing, whether it’s traveling overseas using cutting-edge technology to help with the worldwide distribution of the translated Word or working in the community where they live sharing that same Good News.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
