- In June of 2022, the Youngs arrived in California to begin a home assignment following their final term in Cameroon. Daryl is now assigned to 2 roles; Aviation Recruiter and Trainer (as an Instructor Pilot "on loan" to California Baptist University, CBU).
- Being fresh off the mission field, and coming with a wide range of aviation and mission experience, Daryl is strategically positioned to help interested aviators explore Wycliffe/JAARS. Without sufficient aviators our translation programs often must turn away or limit requests for help. Daryl is helping JAARS engage with candidates.
- CBU offers a Missionary Aviation minor yet there are no missionary instructor pilots on staff. Daryl brings a unique set of skills and experience to the program. His involvement there is also helping JAARS to have a strong recruitment presence among the students and staff for vision-casting for service in missions.
- Sun's assignment is not yet determined. She is seeking the Lord for His direction for her and how He will use her in His kingdom work. Please pray with her as she explores the possibilities.
- It is a joy for the Youngs to take part in what God is doing in Bible translation.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
