THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

David & Jane Pattison

David & Jane Pattison

Dave and Jane Pattison have been serving with Wycliffe since 1991, originally supporting Bible translation through providing education for children of translators and other Christian workers in Asia. Over time, Dave’s work transitioned from directly teaching students to supporting teachers through administration, and then supporting other principals. Later, Dave led a global team to develop, promote, and coordinate adult learning and development for the staff of SIL worldwide. Jane’s work with school libraries transitioned to the role of Asia Area Coordinator of Libraries and Archives for SIL.

In February, 2024, they moved back to the states where Jane continues her work remotely, and Dave has a new Wycliffe assignment at Dallas International University (DIU) as the Director of Strategic Initiatives. DIU offers certificates and degrees in areas such as Bible translation, the development of language and literacy materials, world arts, and human migration studies. DIU graduates and faculty work around the world developing solutions in partnership with local communities.

Please prayerfully consider joining their Wycliffe ministry team through prayer and possibly financial partnership.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
