THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Donna Smith

Donna Smith

Donna left Alaska for Papua New Guinea in 2003, where she teaches missionary kids at Ukarumpa International School. She loves that at a small school she can teach a range of subjects which have included middle school and high school world history, church history and theology, English, Spanish, drama, science, and math. Donna has also taken on administration roles.
PNG is the most linguistically diverse country in the world, and Donna loves being part of helping minority language groups gain access to literacy and scripture. She values her ministry of teaching missionary children because they grow up to be multi-cultural influencers wherever they settle. Her students move comfortably between cultures, often speak several languages, have seen God working dramatically, and many of them are already serving Him while still in school--in other words, She's mentoring the next generation of leaders and missionaries! Would you like to be a part of this by joining her team?

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
