Give someone a fish, or teach one to fish? After 12 years of service and lessons learned in East Africa, Dusty and Kim continue to serve in Bible Translation through Organizational Development. They believe that the task of Scripture translation and access is best accomplished through the work of the current and future Global Church. As a result, Dusty serves as the VP of Growth Partners with Seed Company, a Wycliffe affiliate organization. Growth Partners' goal is to help our national partners in Scripture translation flourish in their ministry. They long to see our Asian, African, Pacific, and American sisters and brothers in Bible translation rooted in their own national churches, economies, and identities in order to serve the Scripture needs for all language groups (Rev 7:9). Dusty and Kim are excited about how the Lord is moving through this strategy to make Scripture available to numerous Bibleless peoples around the world! Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
