Gary and Kris Caffo met at their home church in Dallas, TX and have served 28 years with Wycliffe Bible Translators in financial support roles, currently working for the Eurasia Area. They have served in East Africa and in England. In his position as Director of Financial Services, Gary is responsible for seeing that all the Eurasia Area translation projects have adequate funding to carry out their annual goals. He works with the four Finance Managers to insure smooth reporting of project progress and finances to donors.
Kris' responsibility is working with the accounting software to produce timely reports to be used by administrators and project leaders. These reports are essential to monitor the various budgets in Eurasia and to provide up-to-date information for project reports.
Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
