Gary and Peggy have served with Wycliffe since they were married in 1982. As a couple they went to Papua New Guinea in 1986 and they have been primarily serving the Uramät Baining people in East New Britain Province with Bible Translation, Literacy, Scripture Use Activities and Community Development since late 1988. The Ura New Testament was published and distributed in September of 2020, though the Rosensteels could not be part of this. They had to leave earlier in the year, while in the midst of recording a multi-voice audio recording of the Ura New Testament, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Please pray with them for God's timing to return to PNG in 2022 to complete the recording of the Ura NT with the team of Uramät readers waiting to complete this project.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
