Gavin and Carrie Jones raised their son, Isaac, and quintuplets Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, in Papua New Guinea (PNG). They have been serving with Wycliffe Bible Translators since 2003.
Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Following 18 years in PNG he transitioned to a training role with Jungle Aviation and Relay Service (JAARS), Wycliffe’s technical arm. He also uses his carpentry and general repair skills at the International Linguistics Center.
Carrie, an epidemiologist, worked for 10+ years in community health and at the clinic lab in PNG. She is now “quinting” full-time, with hybrid homeschooling and special needs. She finds it her most challenging and rewarding job to date!

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
