Glenn and Sharlene have been members of Wycliffe for 38 years, 18 of those serving Bible translation in Indonesia; Glenn as a pilot and Sharlene in a variety of ways. Since returning to the States in 2010, Glenn has served in the role of Deputy Director of International Aviation Safety and is currently the International Director of Aviation Safety. Sharlene serves in a dual role. Her primary role is as the Aviation Personnel Coordinator and in a secondary role as the office manager for International Aviation Safety Department. These roles continue to support Bible translation and various gospel ministries as they partner with the Aviation programs who subscribe to the JAARS operating standards. These aviation programs are found in Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, South America, Africa and the United States. Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
