Jay & Jodi Pettygrove

Jay & Jodi Pettygrove

Papua New Guinea has approximately 830 languages. There are about 192 language projects that in progress with 201 that have been completed. There are over 280 that still need linguistic study and translation work to begin.

Jay is working with the communication department as a telephone manger. Jodi is working in the health clinic that offers basic medical care for the language and support personnel. The work of translation, literacy, and training projects are all burdened with additional costs and delays when communication and health care needs arise. This support work is vital to bring God’s Word to the Bibleless people in Papua New Guinea.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
