THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Jim & Lauren Killam

Jim & Lauren Killam

God is working mightily all over the world. Bible translation agencies need to engage the global Church with these stories … generating more prayer, giving, sending and going. Most of all, though, these stories bring glory to God.

To this end, Jim serves the Wycliffe Global Alliance as managing editor. His role involves growing and coordinating news coverage among 100-plus WGA organizations on Wycliffe.net, plus training and mentoring people worldwide to better recognize and report stories of impact.

Jim and Lauren first worked in Bible translation at the Seed Company, a Wycliffe affiliate in Arlington, Texas. Lauren was hospitality assistant and Jim was story director and director of field communications. Jim has worked in journalism and communications more than 35 years, including in missions since 2011.

The Killams live in northern Illinois, where they are enjoying their kids and grandkids.

Would you consider partnering with the Killams’ Wycliffe ministry through prayer and financial giving on a regular basis?

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
