Jim and Stella are preparing to serve the ministry of Bible translation with JAARS as Regional Partner Relations Representatives. Their role will be to broaden the vision and increase awareness of Bible translation, in the Great Lakes area. With nearly 1,800 language groups representing approximately 180 million people still needing God's word in a language that they understand, the need for Bible translation is urgent. The resources needed to complete this work are significant! Jim and Stella will be directly involved in discovering and developing good relationships with partners who can help meet this need. Their first assignment is to build a partnership team through which God will sustain them in their Wycliffe ministry. Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
