THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Jim Walton

Jim Walton

Jim, along with Jan, his wife of 58 years, served in a variety of roles in Colombia, South America, and internationally, as linguist, translator, Colombia Director and Government Relations, International Project Funding Coordinator, and various positions with GIAL. Since Jan’s ‘home going’ and Jim’s retirement from ‘active service’ with Wycliffe, Jim still retains his membership with Wycliffe and continues to volunteer and minister with a fresh focus on his passion for the translated Word. Currently Jim is advising and consulting with the Waltons’ co translator of the Muinane N.T., Andrés, as they translate the book of Proverbs into the Muinane Language.

To learn more of Jim and Jan’s life and ministry among the Muinane (moo-ee-NAH-nay) people, read SENT TO THE RIVER GOD FORGOT & BEYOND. (IMEHI Publishers, 9816 Sophora Cir, Dallas, TX 75249).

Please consider partnering with Jim in his Wycliffe Ministry through prayer.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
