What’s the best way to share God’s Word?
However people can receive it best!

The world’s minority language groups are typically oral societies with a strong preference for communicating through sight and sound. It is estimated that up to 80% of the world is made up of oral communicators. This includes those who cannot read, those who do not read well, and those who simply choose not to read. When an oral communicator receives a printed Bible, that person gains physical access to a book, but the message inside is locked away. In addition, many people live in areas where obtaining a printed Bible is difficult or impossible. Access to God’s Word is limited when the only delivery mechanism is the printed page. Sharing the Scriptures in non-print form can solve these problems and help unlock God’s Word.

Jon and Kimberly Caton are working to give everyone access to God’s Word. As a Media Consultant and Trainer, Jon assists Bible translators in sharing the Scriptures via TV, radio, DVDs, Internet, mp3 players, smart phones, and a variety of emerging technologies. His work is diverse—dealing with copyright issues, advising teams on media strategies, traveling around the world to record Scriptures with national speakers, creating Scripture apps, researching new forms of digital engagement, and resolving technical issues. He also instructs others, passing on over twenty years of experience to those entering this field of service. Kimberly steps in to help with various special projects such as writing and editing articles, checking the typesetting of translations, and assisting Jon and the media department. In addition to having lived in Africa and Europe, the Catons have worked with many people groups around the world. They currently serve at the JAARS Center in North Carolina.

Please prayerfully consider joining their Wycliffe ministry team through prayer and/or financial partnership.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.

Help share God's Word today!
