THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Kathleen Daugherty

Kathleen Daugherty

When asked at the age of 8 what she wanted to be when she grew up, Katie said “missionary.”
While in high school, Katie saw music and drama open doors for children on a First Nations reservation to encounter the Gospel of Jesus, and she has never looked back. After getting her undergrad in music education, Katie used her degree cross-culturally to teach both local and expat students in SE Asia as a “musicianary.” After returning stateside for discipleship training school, becoming rooted in what it means to live in intimacy with the Lord and identity as His sons and daughters, Katie knew what she wanted to do next.

Katie joined Wycliffe Bible Translators and is getting trained in Ethnomusicology and Scripture Engagement at Dallas International University, with the goal of returning to SE Asia to help others learn how they can use elements of their own cultural arts to encounter the Lord and engage with His Word through worship.

Cross-cultural ministry takes a team, and Katie is inviting prayer partners and financial partners to join in her Wycliffe ministry. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with Katie in her Wycliffe ministry?

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
