Scriptures in the heart language are foundational to knowing God and growing in relationship with Him, both personally and as a church or body of believers. The Asia and Pacific areas together have over 1,100 languages without any Scriptures, representing half the remaining languages worldwide and roughly 120 million people.
Keith & Lois Betsch have served with Wycliffe for over 32 years in support of Bible Translation. They spent 15 years in South East Asia, Keith as a pilot and administrator, and Lois as a nurse, and then with Keith serving in leadership roles as Senior VP of International Services for JAARS and Global Director of Operations for SIL.
Keith’s new role is exciting and impactful! As Greater Pacific Sr Field Coordinator he is focused on coming alongside national partners and churches to help them develop their capacity to accomplish shared goals in the Bible translation movement. He is also working with the SIL Area Directors as Asia/Pacific Strategic Initiatives Coordinator to design and implement strategic initiatives that will overcome significant obstacles or seize strategic opportunities. Lois is serving as an Administrative Assistant in the Clinic at JAARS.
Your partnership on their Wycliffe ministry team will result in significant impact in the Asia/Pacific region - one of the largest areas with significant Bible translation and Scripture engagement needs on earth!

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
