God has equipped Ken and Chyrl to multiply the effectiveness of Wycliffe Bible Translators by providing two essential services; first keeping their computers and internet access operational and second providing educational consulting and educational diagnostics evaluations to help educate their children on the field, especially those with learning disabilities. After completing a one-year assignment in Chiang Mai, Thailand, Ken and Chyrl are now serving Bible Translators at the Linguistic Center in Dallas, Texas.
Ken is thrilled to share his two greatest passions in life, God's Word and Information Technology, which have come together in the most incredible way! He is grateful to be a part of the Wycliffe Bible Translators team, where he can provide valuable support to Bible Translators. By ensuring reliable internet connections, email support, access to video conferencing, and providing access to Wycliffe-developed Bible Translation software, Ken can help accelerate the Bible translation process while improving accuracy. Ken’s expertise in backup and remote computer support also means that critical data is always safe and secure.
It is Chyrl’s pleasure to be able to support missionary families with the education of their children, especially children with special learning needs. Pre-field missionary children's education consultations begin at the missionary family’s selection and assignment stage, again during training, and finally just before launch. As the Educational Diagnostician, Chyrl evaluates missionary children for learning disabilities in her Dallas office and at international MK schools. With these evaluations, she is better able to help missionary families and MK schools understand and support learning challenges.
It brings us great joy to know that our skills are contributing to such an important cause, and we can't wait to see God’s Word in every language!

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
