THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Lauren Tideman

Lauren Tideman

Lauren became interested in linguistics during college. She loved how linguistics and language development can show marginalized people that their language is valuable. After taking several courses she felt God leading her toward Wycliffe, and language survey as a starting point. Lauren served with Wycliffe on the language survey team in Tanzania for two years. Upon returning home, she knew she wanted to continue her studies and completed a Masters in Linguistics. Over the course of her program, Lauren again felt God leading her to Wycliffe, and a new part of the world. Lauren now lives in the Balkans region, serving the local Roma community. She has a linguistic role, supporting Bible translation, Scripture engagement, and language development.
Please consider partnering with Lauren's Wycliffe ministry.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
