THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Luke & Molly Verhagen

Luke & Molly Verhagen

Luke and Molly will begin their journey with Wycliffe by heading overseas to Papua New Guinea. There, Molly will engage in Ethnoarts and Trauma healing and Luke will work in Construction and Maintenance.

Molly will serve in ethno-arts, specifically ethnomusicology, by facilitating and guiding people in the creation of meaningful worship using local artistic expressions. She will encourage local musicians to begin creating as a reflection of the work God is doing in them and their communities.

Luke will work in Construction and Maintenance as a section head. He will assist in supporting the infrastructure, managing the supply chain, and working alongside local tradesmen employed by Wycliffe. This position will allow Luke the opportunity to build lasting relationships and work towards supporting bible translation by maintaining the physical infrastructure where the translation work is done.

Molly and Luke are sustained in their Wycliffe ministry by the prayers and financial partnership of churches, families, and individuals. Molly and Luke are very excited to begin this journey and are actively seeking new prayer and financial partners for their Wycliffe ministry team. Would you join their Wycliffe team?

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
