THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Marianne Campbell

Marianne Campbell

After a first career in the corporate world and gifted with French as a second language since a young age, Marianne joined Wycliffe in 2005. She initially supported Bible translation and language development in Francophone Africa for many years as a linguist and trainer.   During home assignment in the U.S. in 2023, Marianne married Craig Campbell, a retired Wycliffe member who served 20 years in roles in both Africa and the Pacific.   Marianne continues to serve an active role with Wycliffe as a Field Coordinator for the Broader Pacific area under Global Partnerships. Specifically, she has a focus on the archipelago of New Caledonia, where French is the language of wider communication and there are around 30 indigenous Kanak languages. She works with field partners to start Bible translation projects that serve the Church there. She is currently based in the U.S., works remotely part time and travels to the Pacific Ocean region as needed.   Please consider how you might prayerfully or financially partner with Marianne in her Wycliffe ministry to reach some of the last people groups who still wait for God's Word in their language.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
