THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Mark & Kirstin Jenkins

Mark & Kirstin Jenkins

Mark and Kirstin have a heart for reaching people who don’t yet have the Word of God in their heart language. Bible translation transforms the lives and communities of millions of people around the world.

The Jenkins joined Wycliffe in 1996, and their first assignment was providing IT support in Asia. Mark now works in Global Technology and Information Services (GTIS) and assists translation teams worldwide by managing IT Customer Services. Computer technology is vital to the task of completing a Bible translation. Whether in remote jungles or crowded cities, Bible translators need reliable technology, IT consulting, and computer configuration. Mark and his team help them collaborate and use web services and emerging technologies. Kirstin, a former school teacher, and Dyslexia Consultant has a passion for assisting dyslexic missionary children around the world.

We believe God's Word in a language one understands best is the greatest evangelist. Together we can make that evangelist available to all people around the world.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
