THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Michael & Mary Lott

Michael & Mary Lott

"Do you know they need teachers on the mission field? Are you interested?" One Sunday night in January 1991, Mike challenged Mary with these questions. The next morning, the Lotts began the process to serve as teachers at Hillcrest School.

It has long been Mike and Mary's desire to serve God and help bring people into His kingdom. They believe that, this side of heaven, there is no greater service than to enable people who haven't had God's Word, the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, to finally have Bibles they can read. In Papua, Indonesia, there are many languages still awaiting Bible translation. The Lotts are part of that on-going work. By teaching the children of translators, jungle pilots, linguistic specialists, and other Christian workers, they form are an integral part of that endeavor.

Arriving in Sentani, Papua, Indonesia in 1995, Mike and Mary have been serving there ever since. Their children were raised on the mission field and, like many other missionary kids, are serving Christ in their jobs and their lives.

The Lotts need additional financial partners on their Wycliffe ministry team. Please consider joining their regular Wycliffe financial partnership team.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
