Nathan and Valerie met while teaching at Faith Academy in Manila, Philippines. As a couple they joined Wycliffe in 2006 and continued their service to Faith. In 2017, they answered the call to work at the Wycliffe Headquarters in Orlando. Nathan provides administrative oversight for missionary kid care and education; care for Wycliffe staff located in the U.S.; and programs to reconnect Wycliffe staff with the Headquarters. Valerie coordinates our program that encourages, builds up and meets other needs of our missionaries on home assignment.
In August, Nate will begin a new role with JAARS (Jungle Aviation And Relay Services), in Waxhaw, NC. JAARS trains pilots and mechanics, they also offer intercultural training for all Wycliffe missionaries. Nate will lead the team that helps in the care of missionary kids and help their parents navigate the complexities of raising your kids overseas. JAARS is growing, there is a lot that needs to be developed and Nate will get to be a part of that development.
Please consider partnering with their Wycliffe ministry by joining their financial and/or prayer team.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
