Bible translation teams on the field often face technical difficulties when the alphabets they use for their language projects don't work properly on computers. Language researchers and literacy specialists have similar needs because, even today, many complex alphabets still need to be studied, developed and made available.
Nico and Becca work with a team to help solve the computing challenges of Bible translation in these other alphabets. From their office in Dallas, Texas, Nico and Becca's work continues to be strategic in meeting the computer needs of Bible translators around the world.
Becca is a type designer who draws the shapes for different fonts used in Bible translations. Her expertise is in the Arabic script but has been expanding to South-East Asian scripts as well.
Nico is a script engineer who works on the more technical aspects of fonts: he contributes to the software used to create, test, build and release fonts for various regions of the world. He provides the tools and support needed by type designers.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
