Pat and Tena served in Mali, West Africa from 1990 to 2007, serving in discipleship, leadership training, and helping people engage with God’s Word in their languages.
From 2007 to 2016 Pat served in Recruitment, helping people find their place of service in the Bible translation effort all over the world!
Since 2017, Pat has been serving as a Field Project Manager with Seed Company on the Sahel team. His experience in Africa and in Recruitment makes Pat uniquely qualified to serve in this assignment. Coordinating the work from Dallas, Pat makes several trips each year to Africa to serve with national Bible translator teams in the effort to help count down to ZERO people groups without Scripture.
The Walkinshaws need a full financial partnership team as Pat serves in this assignment. Please consider how you might join their Wycliffe ministry to alleviate Bible poverty in West Africa, through prayer and financial partnership.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
