Sue Pfaff (and her husband, Jerry) joined Wycliffe in 1985 because of their great concern for the many people in the world who do not have access to God’s Word, the Bible, in a language that communicates well to their hearts. Together they worked for 34 years with the Nali people on Manus Island in Papua New Guinea as trainers and mentors in Bible translation as well as training and helping people from several other languages in Manus Province. Although the Lord called Jerry Home to Glory in 2021, Sue continues to work with the Nali people as they draw nearer to seeing the translation of the entire New Testament and parts of the Old Testament completed in the Nali language. Many thanks to all who have encouraged and partnered with them and their Nali colleagues through the years and continue to do so. God bless you all.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
