Before joining Wycliffe as members in 2021, Roger & Kathy Tesch spent time serving in Papua New Guinea with another mission. They also served with their home church on several short-term mission trips in Uganda, Africa. While on furlough in May 2018, God confirmed that they would not return to Papua New Guinea. Their hearts still desired to “Serve His Servants”, yet they knew they needed to stay in the USA. In January 2021, God began directing them to serve with Wycliffe, caring for the Bible translators and teams that are serving all around the world.
As Resource Coordinators with Wycliffe USA, Roger and Kathy will serve with the Member Care and Resources Team. In order to help families serving worldwide to thrive in their ministry, their duties will include: 1) Proactively supplying personalized care, encouragement, prayer and resource services. 2) Building trusted relationships with regular interactive communication to stay current with assigned family units. 3) Connect members to resources, information, or other services as needed.
They are serving remotely from their home in Lubbock, Texas. Please prayerfully consider investing in Bible translation by becoming a prayer and/or financial partner in the Tesch’s Wycliffe ministry.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
