THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Roger & Vangie Stone

Roger & Vangie Stone

The Ayta people groups are believed to be the first inhabitants of the Philippines but the Scriptures have not been available in their languages. Since 2008 the Stones have been working with committees of mother tongue translators from two Ayta groups to translate the New Testament into their languages. The New Testaments in the Ayta Abellen and Ayta Mag-Indi were published and launched in 2021 in audio and written form. The Stones continue consulting and administrating the Ayta Mag-Indi and Ayta Mag-Antsi Old Testament projects. They are also doing the same for the Ayta Ambala New Testament translation project.

Please consider investing in the work of Bible translation for the Aytas by being a prayer or financial partner with the Stones’ Wycliffe ministry.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
