Rochelle serves with the Olo people in the West Sepik Province of Papua New Guinea. Rochelle and her husband Bill served as translators here with Wycliffe from 1980 to 2000. The New Testament in the Olo language was completed in 1999.
After an absence of many years Rochelle returned to this remote group to visit her friends. She was amazed and blessed to see how the Word of God has brought forth fruit among the people. They have turned their hearts to Jesus and been freed from the bondage of the bush spirits that controlled their lives for centuries.
The people would welcome more help to grow in the Lord. Rochelle will be supervising audio and video recording of Scripture portions, promoting literacy, and perhaps helping the people begin Old Testament translation.
As a volunteer, Rochelle does not have a Ministry Budget for her
assignment. She pays upfront costs and then presents
IRS-approved business receipts to Wycliffe for
reimbursement. Your gifts in preference for her volunteer Wycliffe
ministry will help her have funds with which she can be
reimbursed. Please prayerfully consider becoming a prayer
and financial partner with Rochelle in her Wycliffe ministry.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
