THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Steve & Mary Santos

Steve & Mary Santos

These California natives went to Cameroon, Africa, in September 2000 to do a short-term construction project. Full-time members since 2004, Steve served in various administrative roles and blended his construction and administrative education for a new ministry: Village Support. In 2022, he started his new role as Resource Coordinator to minister to our overseas workers by providing care and connecting them to useful services provided by the home office. His goal is to help them return to the field refreshed and equipped to continue a successful overseas ministry.

Mary is the SIL Africa TCK Care & Education Coordinator which draws from 10 years experience as the FES Coordinator in Cameroon and homeschooling their children to serve as a resource for Wycliffe families and school staff in Africa.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
