God called Terry and Cyndi to support Bible translation with Wycliffe in 2014. They realized the needs in Papua New Guinea (over 850 languages; with 176 languages having translation projects underway, while about 311 languages still needing engagement). Terry and Cyndi completed their required training and after building their partnership team, they moved to Papua New Guinea in July 2016, along with their youngest son, Levi.
It is not enough to simply have God’s Word translated and into the hands of the people. We must come alongside to assist with literacy, discipleship, and church engagement so that Papua New Guineans know and live God's Word which leads to changed lives and transformed communities.
Terry is serving remotely as the Regional Director for the Highlands Region. He assists and manages the translation teams and makes yearly visits to Papua New Guinea and the language communities, maintaining relationships with Papua New Guinean leaders. Terry also manages the Highlands Audio Bible Project where he coordinates audio recordings for the solar powered audio Bibles. These audio Bibles have had a huge impact on overcoming illiteracy and we are seeing many lives changed, as they hear God's Word for the first time in their own heart language.
Cyndi is working remotely for Wycliffe US (Orlando, Florida) assisting the Customer Care Team as a Correspondence Specialist. She is responsible for answering emails in three separate inboxes. Her role allows the rest of the customer relations team to concentrate on the numerous daily phone calls.
Please consider how you might partner with Terry and Cyndi in their Wycliffe ministry, financially or in prayer.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
