Tim & Kathy have retired as of January 2025. They served in ministry with Wycliffe for 40 years. In 1991 they answered God’s call to Papua New Guinea as part of the Bible translation team, enabling people to receive God’s Word in their own language. About 150 of the 800+ languages of Papua New Guinea still need scriptures translated. Tim and Kathy assisted several translation teams and filled various roles at the Ukarumpa mission center for many years. Tim used his expertise in the communications support area initially and then served in several administrative roles, most notably as director for strategic relationships. God blessed this with new partnerships allowing churches and other missions to participate together in Bible translation ministry. Kathy taught in the mission school and served in many practical ways, including youth ministry and national ladies Bible studies. Tim & Kathy’s assignment was handed to others whom they helped train to carry the work to completion. Wycliffe invites you to pray for the completion of scriptures in every PNG language. Gifts may be designated with a preference to the pension fund of Tim & Kathy Husk. Thank you for your prayers as part of the team taking God's Word to Bibleless people. We can see this task completed in this generation!

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
