After a first career spanning 16 years of professional maritime experience off the coast of South Florida, Tim & Stacie joined Wycliffe in 2006 to serve with JAARS Maritime Services.
In 2007 they moved to Alotau, Papua New Guinea where Tim served as the East Papua Boat Program Manager, coordinating the operations of M/V Kwadima II, a 40' passenger/cargo vessel meeting critical transportation needs of 30 language translation projects in Milne Bay and Oro Provinces.
Since 2013 they have been based at the JAARS headquarters in North Carolina, serving in the Maritime Services Department. The Department's primary focus is providing water transportation safety equipment and training solutions, as well as maritime consulting and logistical support for projects like Kwadima II, supporting Bible translators working in remote areas around the world where water travel is a necessity. Tim assumed the role of Director of JAARS Maritime in 2019.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
