THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Wayne & Elena Leman

Wayne & Elena Leman

The Grand Canyon Havasupai New Testament can now be published since Wayne did the final checks. He’s checking Scripture books for a Mayan language in Guatemala and 2 Corinthians for Crow in Montana. He checks Scripture for languages spoken in Asia and the Americas.
Wayne also helps with new Cheyenne Scripture translation and makes published Scripture, hymns, stories, and dictionary audio available on Facebook, to Chief Dull Knife College in Montana and a Cheyenne-Arapaho TV station in Oklahoma.
Elena advises Pierre and Meggie DeMers, who completed the Alaskan Gwich’in NT. They now train a team of 1st Nations speakers in Saskatchewan to do Bible translation into their own language.
We invite you to join our Wycliffe ministry partnership team as prayer and/or financial partners, helping give people the Good News of God's love in the language they understand best.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
