After serving in Papua New Guinea from 1996-2018, Wayne and Maggie are now living in Pennsylvania and serving in State-side support roles with Wycliffe. Wayne is a part of Africa ICT Services of SIL Global and he serves as a Field Infrastructure Engineer in the area of Power & Communications. His daily work involves consulting with African translation and literacy teams to identify suitable and affordable local options and providers of solar and backup power systems to enable language work to continue in spite of unreliable local power. Maggie serves as a Wycliffe representative, presenting the global ministry of Wycliffe and encouraging interested individuals and churches to participate in this work. Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
