In Tanzania, a woman named Yohana (name and picture changed) was going door to door, sharing the gospel with people in her language community. When she reached the home of a mother and her children, the mother wasn’t interested. “I have my own religion,” she insisted.
But the children were curious. They gathered around Yohana and listened intently as she read Scripture in their language, Ngoreme.
The mother overheard the conversation and was surprised that the Bible was in her language. Intrigued, she moved closer to listen and eventually joined the group, hanging on every word. As Yohana finished, the mother asked her to return often.
Soon after encountering God’s Word in Ngoreme, the woman began attending a local church. There, she heard the gospel, and it touched her heart. She made the life-changing decision to follow Jesus!
