THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Beth Knapp

Beth Knapp

Beth has been a Wycliffe member since 1998, working in the Central African Republic since 2001. In her role as translation consultant, she not only checks and approves translated Scripture in Central African languages but also trains Central African Bible translators and mentors consultants-in-training. She also serves as assistant translation coordinator for her group.  During the past few years, she has guided nine translation teams in preparing their New Testament for typesetting, helping them with pre-publication tasks such as harmonizing parallel passages and key terms across the New Testament; spelling, punctuation & formatting checks; and compiling extra-biblical materials, including glossaries, introductions, cross references, illustrations and maps.

Thank you for prayerfully considering investing in Bible translation by becoming a prayer and financial partner in Beth's Wycliffe ministry, helping to bring the Word of God to the people of Central Africa.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
