THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Susan Steele

Susan Steele

Susan’s wealth of experience in all types of roles, from classroom teacher to administrator to teacher coach and accreditation leader have allowed her a unique insight into Black Forest Academy (BFA) and its needs. As the Curriculum Coordinator at BFA in Germany, it is Susan’s privilege to encourage students, equip teachers, and empower parents.

With 20 years experience serving with Wycliffe, Susan is now able to multiply her ministry by coaching teachers “to equip their students to influence their world through Biblical thought, character, and action.” A few of Susan’s former students are now teachers themselves teaching the next generation of missionaries’ kids (MKs).

Encouraging Students: helping MKs understand who they are and develop the gifts God has given them through mentoring and facilitating leadership and service opportunities.

Equipping Teachers: involves instructional coaching in Biblical integration, Christian philosophy of education and understanding students. It allows teachers to grow and thrive in the ministries God has called them.

Empowering Parents: Parents are able to continue their ministries with the confidence that their children’s educational needs are being met. As a result, work in Bible translation, church planting, theological education, outreach to refugees, and many other ministries continue in over 50 countries around the world.

Would you prayerfully consider investing in the lives of students, teachers and families by partnering with Susan in her Wycliffe ministry through prayer and financial gifts?

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
