John and Lisa have a heart for reaching people without God's Word in the language they understand best. From the JAARS center base they continue to serve many countries around the world.
As Instructor in Land Transportation, John trains national Bible translators in their country as well as U.S. missionaries on their way overseas, to safely drive 4x4 vehicles and motorcycles over remote and often treacherous roads. Increasing safety margins, minimizing stress from difficult travel, and reducing driver related vehicle damage and delays, helps Bible translators focus on delivering the translated Word of God more effectively.
Lisa, working with Wycliffe's pre-field training team, helps equip outgoing missionaries to effectively minister cross culturally by preparing them to be spiritually fit, relationally mature and culturally sensitive.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
