After close to 45 years of ministry, David and Gunborg Presson retired in May 2025. Although they have stepped out of their full-time roles with Wycliffe, their hearts for Bible translation remain strong.
Over the years, David applied his skills in graphic design, government relations, communications, and crisis management to strengthen Wycliffe’s work in Africa. Gunborg served in human resources and later as associate area director for Francophone Africa, enhancing organizational effectiveness. Their work has strengthened teams, supported African leaders, and helped make God’s Word more accessible across the continent. They now serve as volunteers for a few hours per week, offering their experience and gifts to continue supporting the work in Africa as God gives strength.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
