Lon and Louise, with Wycliffe since 1975, served about 20 years in East Asia. In 2005, they launched a project in Thailand to serve the East Asia Church by designing and delivering practical training for cross-cultural effectiveness. Taught and documented in the trainees' national language, the courses train participants to train others. The Diehls are curriculum developers, administrators and classroom instructors.
They return to Thailand January 2011 to prepare for another five years' training beginning in September. They hope to speed progress in media packaging and in preparing national language Bible translation training materials.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
