Thank you for your interest in Greg and Diane Dekkers' ministry in Bible Translation. The New Testament translation project (Lubuagan) the Dekkers began in 1987 is complete! The Lubuagan New Testament was dedicated in August, 2014. The OT translation may soon begin!
Meanwhile, God has given Greg and Diane other responsibilities. Diane is the International Literacy and Education Coordinator for SIL International. She does a lot in training new consultants, advocating for Mother Tongue-Based Multilingual Education (MTB MLE), coordinating with SIL Literacy Coordinators worldwide, conducting training and workshops for MTB MLE practitioners, and speaking at special events on MTB MLE and other language and education issues.
Greg is Director of International Translation Services for SIL International. Greg is responsible for the efficient implementation of global Bible Translation strategy for SIL. Greg works with a team of six international coordinators responsible for Bible translation Research and Practice, Training and Development, Oral Translation Services, Global Consulting, and Translation Resources. Greg also has a role with LEAD Asia (cf. leadimpact.org) as Consulting Coordinator, Language and Education Policy and Development, and as an Education and Literacy Consultant. Greg also consults on organizational development for SIL and partners.
Greg and Diane desire to see transformed lives through the translated Word of God, to see people flourishing using the languages that serve them best. They desire to see education reach previously marginalized people through their home languages / mother tongues, which elevates these languages/cultures/people groups to new status and instills value for God's Word written in those languages.
The Dekkers invite you to contribute financially to their Wycliffe ministry and pray regularly for the outpouring of God's Spirit on their efforts, for His name's sake.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
