Brian and Karen, and their two daughters, served for 16 years in Tanzania, East Africa. They returned to the States in July 2012 and following a furlough, Brian served as HR Director for SIL International Admin and then as Vice President of People for JAARS, Inc. In October 2024, Brian took on a new role as Director of Workforce Partnership for Wycliffe Bible Translators USA. His responsibilities include partnering with SIL Anglo-Lusophone Africa Area and SIL Francophone Africa Area. Karen has been serving at JAARS for the past 8 years and continues to enjoy serving. The Anders live in Indian Land, SC, near the JAARS Center (in Waxhaw, NC). Although the Anders have been blessed with an awesome Partnership Team, they ask that you prayerfully consider how you might partner with them in their Wycliffe ministry financially or in prayer.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
